Within the geographic area of responsibility (Extensive business travel around the region)

Geographical Area of Responsibility:

Denmark, Poland & Romania

Overall Objective for The Role:

Delivering and growing sales revenues and gross margins through expanding geographical and market segment presence in line with the European business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

New business development, forecasting, monitoring, and reviewing country/channel performance, channel partner management, budget building, building a strategic regional plan, developing customer campaigns, and pricing strategies, always representing the company in the best and most professional manner.

Duties:

  1. To drive business growth through achieving annual budget order intake, sales revenue, and gross margin targets within the geographical area responsibility.
  2. To develop, maintain and enhance key business relationships across the whole customer value chain and develop multiple routes to market
  3. Manage all routes to market in designated region, which included annual evaluations and making recommended changes as necessary
  4. To significantly grow the current business across the region through expansion into new target market segments and countries.
  5. To successfully create, drive & implement the regional business strategy and monitor strategic objectives for the target territories to ensure that agreed financial targets are achieved.
  6. To monitor and review the monthly key performance indicators (sales, gross margins, overhead, profitability) & provide monthly and quarterly reports such as, order & revenue forecasts.
  7. To support existing and future channel partners through product and application training and business planning to expand revenues within market segments.
  8. To develop an annual regional strategic plan, detailing optimum route to market, focused growth, new business opportunities and competitor activity
  9.  Manage the regional budget for business development activities

Required Qualifications

  • Batchelor's Degree or equivalent
  • A valid driving licence
  • Fluent English (written and spoken). Romanian or Polish preferable

 

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years post-graduation work experience in business development.
  • Proven experience in generating sales in international markets.
  • Strong understanding of the water industry in region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems

 

Key Performance indicators:

  1. Expansion into new European territories
  2. Development of an in-region strategic plan
  3. New customers & an orderbook pipeline
