Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Produce Supervisor, is responsible for harvesting apples. May assist with other duties within the Agriculture Department. Hours vary depending on ripening of crop and weather. This position is subject to lay‑offs and recalls depending on the needs of the apple orchard. This is an agriculturally exempt position.
Responsibilities:
* Harvest all crops as needed and place in storage building.
* Grade and pack apples
* Harvest pumpkins, squash, and all other agriculture crops
* Prune trees.
* Plant, maintain, and harvest field crops.
* Operate tractor, chain saw, apple grader, and pruner.
* Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
