SALARY: $15.00 Hourly TANF
                $10.00 Hourly WIOA
Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY
This position will work with the Oneida Nation Programs to learn and support the department. Assist with administrative duties for the department. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Will vary based on position.
  2. Adhere to all Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, Tribal Standard Operating Procedures, and Area and Program Strategic Plans and Policies.
  3. The above duties and responsibilities are not an all-inclusive list but rather a general representation of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position. The duties and responsibilities will be subject to change based on organizational needs and/or deemed necessary by the supervisor.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  1. Frequently sit, stand and walk; use hands to finger; reach with hands and arms. 
  2. Occasionally bend/stoop, reach above shoulder level, crouch, carry and lift up to ten (10) pounds.   
  3. Employee must use repetitive movement of both hands.
  4. Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. 
  5. A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.


STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Will vary based on position.
  2. Must be pre-approved through WIOA or TANF program, to participate.
  3. Ability to able to deal with the general public and Tribal employees with tact, courtesy, respect, objectivity and maturity.
  4. Oneida Certification on Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect within ninety (90) days of employment.
  5. Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the Oneida Nation
  6. Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters. (Must sign a confidentiality statement prior to employment.)
  7. Must be willing and able to obtain additional education and training.
  8. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.  Must adhere to the Nation's Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment.
  9. Must pass a background security check prior to and during employment with the Oneida Nation in order to meet the Employment Eligibility Requirements and/or the Tribal State Compact and/or the Tribal Gaming Ordinance as they pertain to the position and the location of the department.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be an Enrolled Member of the Oneida Nation or a Federally Recognized Tribe.
  2. Must be enrolled in High School.
  3. Ages 14 to 18 years of age
