OrthoVirginia, Inc. is seeking a fellowship trained orthopedic hand surgeon to join our team for a full-time position in our Stone Springs and Springfield Locations.

OrthoVirginia is the state's leading provider of expert musculoskeletal care which serves the needs of its patients through a team of highly- trained specialists who are committed to the independent practice of medicine. OrthoVirginia has more than 100 physicians, 27 office locations, MRI facilities, outpatient surgery centers and therapy clinics throughout Virginia.

Our Northern Virginia Region office is comprised of forty-four orthopedic providers. We provide care for an immediate drawing area of approximately 3.2 million. We are committed to providing compassionate, full breadth musculoskeletal care to our patients.

Our Northern Virginia Region has specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. OrthoVirginia is fully integrated on the Epic platform. Our facilities include locations throughout the region and include an MRI, procedure suite, an after-hours clinic and expanded therapy services.

Northern Virginia is one of the most dynamic places to live and work in the Eastern US/Mid-Atlantic Region. The region boasts growing diverse population, communities that hum with activity and it is just across the river from Washington DC. Within a short drive are beaches along the Virginia and North Carolina coasts, hiking trails and trout streams of the Blue Ridge. The region also boasts extraordinary museums, restaurants, live music, arts, and sporting events/athletics.

Hand surgeons joining OrthoVirginia will have an active interest in collaborative diagnosis and treatment of hand-related disorders in the context of a multi-disciplinary practice including orthopedic surgeons, interventional physiatrists, anesthesia pain and physical therapists. Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible. Competitive salary and benefit package offered. Partnership track available. Fellowship candidates will be considered.

Qualified Candidates:

  • BC/BE orthopedic surgeon from an accredited training program
  • Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians, and administration
