Core Job Duties
- Patrolling assigned areas on foot to ensure security of people, buildings, and equipment.
- Reporting breaches, hazards, and emergencies; coordinating with emergency responders.
- Using two-way radios and computer systems for communication and record-keeping.
- Providing assistance and excellent customer service.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to conduct patrols independently and remain calm in emergencies.
- Effective communication skills for writing reports and interacting with personnel.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures, handling difficult behaviors, and safety codes.
- Good interpersonal skills and professionalism, with discretion for confidential information.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform moderate physical activity like extended walking or standing.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Valid Security Guard License.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Strong customer service capabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including afternoons, nights, and weekends.
