Description

This position will be responsible for the day to day processing of Identity Access Management (IAM) requests at Paycom. Primarily this individual would be following and enforcing the IAM program at Paycom. The primary responsibilities will include provisioning, modifying and terminating access to secure systems within the Paycom environment. Additional responsibilities will include supporting Active Directory and enterprise log correlation systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day processing of access management requests, including but not limited to initial new hire setup, updating accesses and termination of access.
  • Follow detailed processes and procedures to ensure secure system access is implemented securely and efficiently.
  • Follow frameworks and processes related to RBAC(Role Based Access Control) and least privilege.
  • Seek out and report potential security issues where applicable (for example: excessive privileges relative to job duty or separation of duties, escalate as required).
  • Monitors and ensures that all access administration systems and processes are followed as per specifications.
  • Monitors IAM and AD logs for suspicious activity and must report any and all anomalies discovered pursuant to the policy.
  • Must be detail oriented and process driven. Must be able to enforce policy driven security practices and maintain strong ethics while doing so.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering and/or coordinating deliverables for necessary evidence and review.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential and secure above all else.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Attends meetings and serves on committees, as requested
  • Coordinates with upper management to inform and relay information where applicable
  • Regular attendance as required
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor degree

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Experience in the Information Technology industry. Preferable IAM experience within an enterprise environment. At minimum fundamental knowledge of security least privilege organization.
  • Foundational experience with IAM systems and frameworks.
  • Foundational experience with enterprise directory and directory integration services (AD, LDAP, ADFS, PKI).
  • General knowledge of infrastructure security, including Windows, Unix/Linux, desktop and mobile.
  • General knowledge of enterprise log correlation.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies
  • Provide technical assistance for computer problems
  • Read and understand technical manuals
  • Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal
  • Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
