Description

Paycom is seeking a detail-oriented, thoughtful, and excited Product Design Intern to help us build new products and features. As the Product Design Intern, you will solve complex problems and have the opportunity to work on a real project that impacts our users, while learning from senior members of our product design team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn about our design process
  • Work on design projects with potential deliverables including storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Participate in team design critiques by presenting work and providing thoughtful feedback on projects others are working on.
  • Collaborate with senior members of the product design team.
  • Document and present your own work to internal teams and stakeholders.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Pursuing a degree in design or related field

Experience:

  • Demonstrates proficiency with computers
  • Experience in some form of design program
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Have at least one project that demonstrates your design capabilities

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • 2+ years of college completed

Skills/Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to own and deliver work independently and also to work within a team.
