Schedule Details: Primarily Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with participation in an on call rotation required.
The PHC Information Technology Division supports our community - focused healthcare system's primary care facilities, hospitals, home health care, hospice services, long term care and senior residence communities, health and fitness center. We have attained national recognition for our pioneering approach to business intelligence and population health management. We were the first system to use Epic's Cogito data warehouse in a production environment which afforded our ACO a method for managing their population's health. We have successfully attested for Stage 1 of meaningful use for our hospitals and physicians, as well as have attained Stage6 designation on the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM). The Regulatory and Security Awareness Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and oversight of information security policies and procedures as well as facilitating and coordinating the development and annual review of policies and evaluating the state of ProHealth Care's Information Security against regulatory standards and best practice approaches. This position will work closely with the Corporate Compliance department and Privacy function to ensure that the IT Security and policy practices are in line with privacy and compliance requirements. This position also will be responsible for developing and working with the appropriate departments to implement a comprehensive security awareness program.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of security regulatory and awareness experience or equivalent formal education.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or SANS are a plus, but not required.
