Description

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced full-time Health Promoter with excellent communication and customer service skills to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters office, as well as in Los Angeles County.  The Health Promoter is uniquely qualified as health worker who will educate patients and other members of the community through health center services, community-based organizations and/or schools by conducting outreach and curriculum-based health education workshops for Black Communities on sexuality and reproductive health and overall wellbeing. Under indirect supervision, this position works closely with medical providers at the Inglewood Health Center to assess client needs in accordance with established protocols, provide necessary information and appropriate referrals, as well as providing public health educational programming.
