Position Summary   PMA is currently seeking a Site Superintendent for our Orlando, Florida office. In this hybrid role, you will be supporting our client's on-site locations in Brooksville and Kissimmee. This position is flexible with expectations of 20 hours per week.    Reporting to the PMA Project Manager, the Site Superintendent role is responsible for on-site observations and daily reporting on progress, as well as monitoring and coordinating onsite testing, inspection, and commissioning services during the construction phase of the project. The position requires communicating and collaborating with the Owner/Architect/OPM team to ensure project integrity and a high-quality work product that consistently meets or exceeds the project's contract documents, including the drawings and specifications. The position also requires maintaining accurate records kept on PMA's SharePoint Site including but not limited to written and electronic correspondence, contract documents, requests of information, change orders, change directives, weekly reports, shop drawings, project data, and electronic samples.  Position Qualifications

    • Knowledge of field construction project management typically acquired by a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field and 5+ years' experience providing Site Superintendent project support or 10+ years of field experience on commercial construction projects.
    • Specific knowledge of heavy civil work including support of excavation systems and earthwork, site utility work, water storage tanks, pumphouses, and permitting is preferred.
    • Demonstrated communication abilities (both verbal and written), multi-tasking with a high degree of accuracy, and judgment.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with preparing written progress reports utilizing MS Word, spreadsheets, and pdf documents.
    • Working knowledge of ProCore, Prolog, Timberline, ProjectWise, or other collaboration software is a plus.
    • Direct construction trade experience or knowledge is beneficial.
    • Prior municipal/public works project experience is also a plus.
    • Demonstrated record of timely job performance in support of normally expected construction work hours during the work week, and support of occasional Saturday work.
Additional Requirements   Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.   Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.   About PMA   At PMA, employee well-being is a daily priority.
