Job Summary
Performs seasonal work scheduled around the system-wide Influenza Vaccine Distribution and N-95 Respirator Fit Testing programs. The LPN-Special Projects may perform new hire screenings when necessary based on the volume of new employees and volunteers in the Prisma Health system.This position is for prn work within our department and work may be scheduled at any location within our System; including locations that are not associated with one of our campuses. All work for projects is subject to rotation of location(s) and times which may not be "standard" office hours. Weekend work may occasionally be offered. Business travel may apply if this nurse travels to multiple locations during the course of a shift.
Accountabilities
- Administers immunizations and other injections according to HealthWorks policies and procedures. - 25%
- Provides education to all recipients of vaccine. - 25%
- Draws labs if necessary with BBF exposures. - 25%
- Maintains accurate and timely state and federal mandated records including DHEC, OSHA and JCAHO. - 25%
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
- LPN
- RN - Preferred

Experience administering vaccinations - Preferred.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

LPN or RN currently licensed in South Carolina. BLS certification is required.
