Job Summary

Supervises Sterile Processing activities associated with processing of equipment, supplies and instruments utilized for diagnostic or surgical intervention. Activities include decontamination, packaging, sterilization and distribution to departments supported. Interprets policies, procedures, standards and regulations. The supervisor will support the manager in carrying out department objectives. The supervisor provides a leadership role for the continuous quality improvement initiatives. The supervisor will be involved in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, corrective action, as well as, performance evaluations.
