Description

The outpatient therapy department operates thirteen clinic locations serving all of Waukesha County. These thirteen locations combine to complete over 13,000 outpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff provide care for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular and medical diagnoses. The department consists of over 108 therapists to provide rehab services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Additionally, we offer pediatric rehab and cancer rehab as clinic specific specialty services.

 

Hours: Clinic is open 7am to 6:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am to 5:00pm on Friday. No weekends or holidays required for this role. Summer, holiday breaks, and after school hours are highest demand. Pediatric therapy location only (Brookfield Clinic).

Full Time / Part Time: Pool/As Needed - no Benefits

What You Will Do:

Evaluates individuals referred for occupational therapy services.  Establishes an occupational therapy prognosis, and plan of treatment.  Implements OT treatment for patients based on evaluation results and plan of care.  Re-assesses the ongoing effects of treatment.  Collaborates with and provides consultation to others in care delivery.  Supervises occupational therapy assistants and aides.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current BLS certification through AHA (or ability to obtain at time of hire).
  • Occupational Therapist licensure required through State of WI (OTR).
  • At least 1 year of occupational therapist experience preferred.
  • Pediatrics experience
  • Prefer experience with ASD, sensory processing, feeding, complex medical, congenital conditions and chronic disease in children. Additional orthopedic management with children is a bonus.
