We Are Hiring: Operating Room Assistant - Waukesha Memorial Hospital - 1.0 FTE
In a single day, staff from four specialty-based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, and Plastic surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually, including da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room.
What You Will Do:
As an Operating Room Assistant, you will function as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a Registered Peri-Operative Nurse. You will be responsible for assisting in general department cleaning, case cart preparation, running errands, and assisting with transporting of patients and room turnover.
