**Job Summary:**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair of company facilities and equipment. You will ensure that all machinery and systems are operating efficiently and safely, and you will respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment for special events when needed.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of various maintenance and repair techniques for plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the location.
