If so, then the Account Management Division Manager may be the position for you! This is a traveling position that is responsible for leading a team in an assigned territory which includes food processing plants in a set region.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO:

The Account Management Division Manager position is responsible for the sales growth, personnel management, and service requirements with our exclusive line of specialty chemicals and equipment for multiple sites across a certain geographic area.

  • Work with Safe Foods Chemical Innovations management team, team members, and customers to ensure streamlined ordering, delivery, and applications of our products
  • Manage, control, and communicate with management on the variance of budgeted chemical, equipment, freight/fuel, and labor costs within the territory
  • Communicate regularly with key plants in the geographical area to ensure day to day processes are being performed effectively and efficiently
  • Manage the approval process for expenses of territory personnel
    • Supervise a team of Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to achieve stated goals and serve our customers with excellence
    • Consistently seek ways to reduce cost and increase efficiency for the company and our customers
    • Constantly finding new business expansion in the geographical area assigned
    • Other duties as assigned

YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Associates degree or 7-10 years in sanitation/food processing industry
  • Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months experience at this level preferred)
    • Display strong managerial skills including leadership, decision making, and conflict resolution
    • Maintain integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus
    • Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs
      • A valid driver's license

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Work experience or education in Food & RTE Processing Operations, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation
  • Previous experience in leading a sales team in the Food, Beverage, Dairy, and RTE industry

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position is a remote position in your professional home office with frequent travel to food production facilities throughout your assigned territory. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) is required in facilities and may consist of but is not limited to safety glasses, hard hat, steel toed boots, etc.
