Description

  • Conduct inventory controls for Safety Technology equipment to include but not limited to:  LYTX, ISAAC and specific portable communications devices
  • Update inventory databases with received and shipped equipment as they occur
  • Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
  • Inspect returned equipment for either reissue or replacement
  • Create and administer purchase orders as needed for third party vendors
  • Collaborate with third party vendor support teams for company benefit
  • Track RMA processes to insure that any required parts returns are completed
  • Track returning equipment and create debit requests for missing equipment
  • Work with management to create and implement processes and procedures
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed
  • Other administrative duties & miscellaneous tasks as assigned

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies)

  • Analyze inventory data
  • Able to use a computer and other office technology
  • Familiar with incident/inventory tracking systems
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail to identify defective equipment
  • Analytical reporting skills
  • Mechanical propensity 

 

Supervisory Responsibility: 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position is fully in office.

Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.

  • The employee will regularly and repetitively be required to talk, hear, sit, type, reach and grasp in a typical office environment. 

  • This position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping or crouching. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 35 pounds. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Summary/ Objective:

The Safety Technology Inventory Administrator will perform inventory control for all terminals, shops, and corporate Safety Technology equipment inventories. The position will maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing equipment and supplies by using digital and physical counting methods to identify discrepancies with inventories and will provide accurate reporting to management for review.
