Description
Reporting to the Radiology Department Supervisor this position provides health care services, applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs computer tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

- Graduate of an Accredited Radiography program or equivalent preferred.
- Certification by the state of California (CRT) within 90 days of hire.
- Current CPR certification.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
- Demonstrates knowledge base or experience to successfully complete CT procedures.
- Certified IV contrast, injections, required within 90 days of hire or transfer to this position.
- Current MAB required within 6 months of hire if assigned to work in the Emergency Department.
- Certification by the state of California for Fluoroscopy within 90 days of hire.
