Position Overview

This position will assist in filing and coordinating with all the government agencies, such as BIR, PEZA, and other local government agencies.

In this role, you will be:
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate tax filing of all the tax returns and registration with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
  • Assists in the tax assessments or audits initiated by the BIR.
  • To ensure that the Company is compliant with the submission of its PEZA reports and monthly filings (i.e., PEZA permit processing, EZMPR, etc.).
  • Process and monitor all mandatory reporting requirements for all the Local Government Units where sites are located.
  • Perform all other tasks as may be required by the Immediate Head.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance-related course with equivalent Tax/Accounting experience.
  • Must have at least 6 months of relevant Tax/Accounting experience.
  • Preferably with experience in handling the different compliance requirements.
  • Preferably with experience dealing with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate correctly and clearly (both oral and written)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business processes, corporate policies, and regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and process manuals.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from peers and colleagues.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
