Richardson's UK operations encompass oat milling, malting, animal feed and ingredient processing. Operating under Richardson Oat Milling, Crisp Malt, EDME, and Micronized Food Products (MFP), Richardson supplies the domestic and international food, brewing, and distilling industries.
We currently have an opportunity for a Brewing Technical Sales Manager at our Crisp Malt business, this will be a homebased position with travel across the UK.
Job purpose
To drive sales of Crisp Malt by combining in-depth product knowledge with a deep understanding of the customer's technical and production needs in the territory as defined by the Brewing Sales Team Manager
Key Duties and responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective brewing customers to understand their needs.
Produce quality reports and attend meetings with key accounts to understand quality performance
Provide technical support to the customer and maintain accurate records.
Devise Recipes and create written literature for Marketing content
Liaise with marketing to conduct digital marketing campaigns
Create technical data sheets for Crisp Malt products and different beer styles
Create and maintain presentation packs on the benefits of Crisp malt and industry best practice.
Collaborate with production and quality teams
Attend industry events representing Crisp Malt
Seek opportunities and present on the benefits of Crisp Malt at industry events
Lead on NPD projects, liasing with production, quality, sales & marketing teams and research providers (Heriot Watt, Nottingham, Richardson technical centre, etc.)
Develop a good commercial understanding of customers
