Summary

RNDC (Republic National Distributing Company) is a leading distributor of premium wines and spirits in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative technology team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions that drive efficiency and innovation within our company.

In this role, you will
  • Play a vital role in a team of engineers, actively contributing to architecture, demand delivery, code reviews, release management, and more.
  • Share your expertise and mentor fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Take the lead in full lifecycle software development, from ideation to deployment.
  • Rigorously test and evaluate the technical aspects of each decision and uphold the highest code quality standards through thorough code reviews.
  • Provide timely, innovative solutions to technical challenges, ensuring uninterrupted operations of our high-volume web-based applications.
  • Create and refine web user interfaces, putting the user experience front and center.
  • Implement analytics and monitoring routines and conduct insightful analytics and A/B testing for continuous improvement.
What you bring to RNDC
  • Tech School / Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred;
  • 3-5 or more years related experience, of which should be with hands on script development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with and good knowledge of C, C++, C#, Java, security and database technology
  • Experience with .NET MVC and web-based development (HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS, JS)
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, React.js, Angular.js, Web API, Restful Services, MS SQL Server
  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization
  • Experience with UX with additional respect to Accessibility (ADA) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
  • Experience in application design using design principles, patterns and best practices
  • Adequate knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and GitHub
  • Knowledge and experience with full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of mobile first design methodology, web standards and UI/UX best practices
  • Knowledge of Lean / Agile development methodologies
