Position Summary:  This position supports the mission of Rose Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.  Responsible for ensuring proper cash handling procedures.  Restocks café station and assists customers as needed.  Cashier is security conscious and informs manager when possible theft is occurring.  When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Summary:

Properly handles, prepares, serves and stores food items for all services of the department in compliance with department policies/procedures, regulatory agency standards, HACCP Guidelines and Sodexo Production Standards (Gold Checks and Food Safety audit).  Complies with recipes and able to adjust for volume as required.  Participates in the department Performance Improvement Program.  Maintains sanitation standards as defined by department policies/procedures.  Coordinates activities for daily food service operations throughout FANS, focusing on the PM cafeteria and the AYR area.  Primary focus to ensure timely and accurate meal service for Patient Services and Cafeteria.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

A.       Licensure/Certification/Registration:  None.

 

B.        Education:  High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

C.        Experience:  Minimum of six months cashier experience in Food Service preferred.
