Regular Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Pathology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (RPCCC) seeks to recruit academic Surgical Pathologists at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank with subspecialty expertise and/or fellowship training in at least two of the following subspecialties: Genitourinary, Gynecologic, Gastrointestinal, Thoracic, Breast, and Head & Neck Pathology to support the Institute's growing clinical volume and research programs in these areas.

The successful candidate will join the surgical pathology staff to provide diagnostic services and translational research support to an outstanding clinical and scientific faculty in a collegial and cooperative environment. A wide variety of interesting oncologic cases, both in-house and in our consultation practice, will be encountered. Development of an independent research program is encouraged and will be supported.

RPCCC, founded in 1898, is the first dedicated cancer center in the United States and a NCI designated member of National Comprehensive Cancer Center Network. Since its inception, RPCCC has provided state-of-the-art cancer diagnosis and treatment, conducted basic, translational, and clinical research, and pioneered new treatment modalities.

Salary range is $215,000 - $350,000 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Candidates must be AP or AP/CP board certified or eligible and will be required to obtain a New York State Medical license. The ideal candidate will have subspecialty fellowship training or experience and can show an academic track record in these areas. 

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
