Title: Executive Assistant II

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Development Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Performs highly confidential, complex administrative duties for the SVP of Development requiring a high degree of initiative and independent judgment, extends the effectiveness of the SVP by attending to a variety of administrative details including receiving and relaying messages in a timely manner ensuring the prompt handling of all communication, responding to routine correspondence on own initiative with particular attention to priority items/deadlines requiring the immediate action of the SVP. This position provides administrative support for the Alliance Foundation, specifically for the Foundation Board of Directors, its Personnel Committee, Development Committee and Membership Committee.

Performs high-level staff work that requires a great degree of tact and integrity due to the great frequency of senior level internal and external contacts and the high degree of exposure to confidential data.

Starting annual salary is $67,119 commensurate with experience. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or
2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time secretarial or related experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have previous experience with meeting and event coordination, experience working with volunteers, donors and board members and excellent customer service experience. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with creating, editing and reviewing correspondence including newsletters and other mailings.
