Title: Noninvasive Cardiologist

Regular Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Department of Internal Medicine - Cardiology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Department of Internal Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has an immediate opening for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist to join our Cardiology division.

The Cardiology team provides Clinical Cardiology services to Roswell Park patients including consultation, ECG interpretation, transthoracic echocardiography (with strain imaging) and transesophageal echocardiography. We work closely with Roswell Park oncologists, surgeons, and specialists in all aspects of cardiology and cardio-oncology including diagnosing and managing cardiac complications related to chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy.
We plan to expand our services to include stress echo, nuclear stress testing and Cardiac MRI. Interpretation of these imaging modalities is available (but not mandatory) for the interested candidate.

The candidate will have excellent clinical skills, demonstrate strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills to promote strong collaborative relationships with other clinicians at Roswell Park. Candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York and ABIM board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases.

For the interested candidate, protected research time is available, but research isn't required. There are ample opportunities for clinical studies and research trials, and the candidate will have access to a robust mentoring program.

Salary range is $283,649 - $385,000 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
 
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills that will help promote and maintain strong collaborative relationships with other clinicians at Roswell Park. Candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York and ABIM board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases. Active ABIM certification in internal medicine a plus. ASCeXAM testimur status and/or extensive experience in echocardiography is required. Preferred candidates will be BE/BC in Nuclear Cardiology, although not mandatory.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
