Title: Senior Sterile Processing Technician

Job Type:

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Sterile Processing Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: Second Shift (United States of America) Summary: Coordinates and prioritizes work assignments daily for sterilization and distribution of instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital. Assures assignments are completed in a timely manner. Must maintain certification from a nationally accredited central service technician credentialing organization recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center annually as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain certification will result in termination of employment.

Salary range is $43,768 - $53,708 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Certification Requirement
Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT), or equivalent certification from a nationally accredited central service technician credentialing organization recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in Sterile Processing or a related field and successful completion of the Sterile Processing Technology and Sterile Processing Sterilization courses.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will be CRCST or CBSPD certified, have sterile processing experience and will possess basic computer skills and have excellent communication skills.
