Do you want to learn how to machine parts? Do you want to understand how a manufacturing lab environment is run? If so, Roush's Manufacturing Internship may be a fit for you. We're seeking organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Interns for the Summer Internship Program. These positions will support the Prototype Coordination Group and gain exposure and real-world experience within a manufacturing environment. These positions are located in Livonia, MI.
As a Manufacturing Intern, you will:
- Package and label finished parts
- Load and unload machining parts on different equipment/fixtures
- Apply rust prevention application and other methods as needed
- Willingness to help the team and learn other areas as needed
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong desire to understand the manufacturing process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have proven experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills and willingness to learn
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn introductory level CNC machining or tooling
- Previous internship experience
