  • Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
  • Annual Salary Pay: Target Salary is $80,000/year
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) weekends (flexibility)

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (Automation) is responsible for corporate oversight at assigned facility relating to maintenance and upkeep of the building, equipment and grounds. This includes oversight of all mechanical, electrical, janitorial and Material Handling Equipment and the related maintenance. Normally only one site unless there is an overflow building.

Essential Functions

  • Apply corporate oversight of all maintenance programs at all of our dry facilities. This will include the building envelope, grounds, parking lots along with MHE used within the four walls
  • Identify cost containment or savings and coordinate with facility manager in application efforts
  • Assist in developing and applying Material Handling Equipment maintenance programs at facility assigned
  • Oversee janitorial duties and food safety. Ensure regulatory compliance training with OSHA, EPA and other governing authorities
  • Report on productivity and efficiency and PM performance

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, along with strong follow-up, analytical, problem solving and sound decision making skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with customers, employees, peers and management
  • Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and as member of a team
  • Ability to manage individual performance and employee relations
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, excel and Window
  • Electrical intermediate preferred
  • Hydraulics intermediate preferred
  • Building Trades intermediate preferred
  • Welding intermediate preferred

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technologies
  • Two (2) years or more supervisory experience required
  • Five (5) years or more supervisory experience preferred
  • Electrical intermediate preferred
  • Hydraulics intermediate preferred
  • Building Trades intermediate preferred
  • Welding intermediate preferred
