Summary

The Supervisor License will manage the day to day operations and can assist the Business Analyst in the increased state reporting requirements. This position would have direct supervision of four Sr. Administrative Coordinators in the Licensing Department. These employees are responsible for all titling, licensing, citations, California ARB and BIT registrations. States currently supported are California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and some Alaska. All are located at the same facility.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the licensing business team which is responsible for vehicle regulatory task and functions for citations, toll violations, and other miscellaneous services.
  • Assist upper management with special projects and analysis related to regulatory compliance as needed. Leads process improvement initiatives and develops and recommends solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation of current procedures and processes.
  • Educate and support operational business units, shared service center and customer service on the citation and toll processes, billing, and fee structure to include best practice guidance and recommendations through online meetings, conference calls and/or training sessions.
  • Support for entire licensing coordinator team for large renewals (registration or permit related) as needed. Processing of licensing for renewing units and/or annual permit ordering that adds stress and slow downs for new/transfer in units to complete when annually performed (ie, permit renewal, NY HUT renewal, annual base plate renewals, obtaining needed inspections or FHUT receipts etc)
  • Backup support for processes & state coverages when team has opening or on leave
  • Operational Initiatives: Work closely with Director of Operations (DOO), Director of Sales (DOS) and Director of Rental (DOR), Director of Licensing Compliance to identify and recommend opportunities for revenue/cost/productivity improvements for CSS & FMS operations for US & Canada

  • Able to support Operations, Rental Sales and Asset Management
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to drive to DMV, courthouses, customer visits with Sales staff
  • Local day travel as needed
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field, but experience acceptable
  • Five (5) years or more prior supervision experience required
  • Five (5) years or more experience in Accounting, Licensing and Regulations preferred

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$67,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$71,000.00
