Job Description :

Summary

The Senior Technology Business Management Analyst plays a strategic role in driving financial transparency, vendor optimization, cost modeling, and operational excellence across the technology organization. This position leads complex initiatives, mentors junior analysts, and partners with senior leadership to shape and execute the Technology Business Management (TBM) strategy. The role requires in-depth expertise in IT financial management, including but not limited to invoicing, actuals, month-end reconciliation, forecasting, and planning; as well as contract management, contract renewals, vendor relations, and serving as a key driver in vendor analytics and insights. All aimed at maximizing the value that vendors bring to the Technology Team. They should have a strong focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Functions

  • Lead, execute, and oversee all financial management processes, including forecasting, budgeting, accruals, purchase orders, and month-end reconciliations across multiple portfolios.
  • Design and implement process improvements, governance frameworks, and tooling enhancements to elevate TBM capabilities.
  • Drive vendor management strategy, including contract management, contract renewals, communications, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Own and optimize IT cost modeling tools and ERP integrations, ensuring accurate data flow and actionable insights.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Adaptive Insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Partner with technology leaders and cost center owners to identify opportunities for cost optimization, cost modeling, ROI improvement, and capability expansion.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to align TBM practices with enterprise goals, including IT strategy and governance, workforce strategy, policy development, and data strategy.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Onboarding of contractors and supporting of employees as needed.
  • Any other responsibility within IT Financial Management, Vendor Management, and other Technology Business Management areas identified by the technology leadership team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong grasp of balance sheets, P&L, ROI, budgeting, cost allocations, and capital vs. operating concepts., Required
  • Extensive experience with forecasting, budgeting, accruals, purchase orders, and month-end reconciliations., Required
  • Contract management, renewals, vendor analytics, and strategic sourcing., Required
  • Ability to build professional relationships across all levels of the organization (leaders, peers, customers, work groups)., Required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, Business/Administration, or related fields., Required
  • 5 years or more in Information Technology (IT) Financial Management, Accounting, or Business Management, with demonstrated leadership in TBM practices., Required
  • Data Tools: MS Excel (Pivot tables, Macros), Power Bi. Advanced, Required
  • MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS SharePoint. Advanced, Required
  • Knowledge of financial management processes and best practices, such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital, and operating expense processing. Advanced, Required
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure domains, including data centers, network/ communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, application development, and IT Services. Intermediate, Required

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$80,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$90,000.00
