• $1800 - $2200 on average weekly
• Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Manual and Automatic experience required
• Hours: Up to 70+ hours per week. OT after 40 hours
• Every Travel Assignment: up to 16 hours of Travel Time Pay. We pay you to arrive at assignment and to return home.
• NST Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31
• Sign On Bonus: Pays You $1500 at 30 Days AND $1500 at 90 Days
• Paid Training
• Per Diem: NOT TAXED $50.00 per Day When Working
• Per Diem: NOT TAXED $25.00 per Day when on Reset in Hotel
• Every Travel Assignment: up to 16 hours of Travel Time Pay. We pay you to arrive at assignment and to return home.

We want the right Trucker to Join our Elite Group of Travel Drivers. Travel throughout the USA supporting various Ryder Customers with all types of routes:

• Up to two weeks on route and back home for one full week
• Local, Regional, OTR, Shuttle Work, Yard Support, Transfer/Driveaway
• No Touch, Touch, Load Securement Only, Tailgate Only
• Fruit, Vegetables, Frozen Foods, Perishables, Automotive Parts, Building Materials, Hardware Tools/Supplies, Motorcycles, Trikes, Palletized Retail Goods, Tires, Plants, Flowers, and more
• Trailer type: All Types: Dry Van, Flatbed, Reefer, etc.

All Travel is Booked and Paid for by Ryder to arrive, support and return back from the assignment

• Hotel, Rental Car, Flight
• Baggage, Rental Fuel, Uber Reimbursement Plan

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
