in Ashburn, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with SAIC Federal Systems. 

This is a hybrid-remote position requiring 2 days on site per week in Ashburn, VA. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Active member of the agile software development team participating in all Program Increment and Sprint ceremonies.
  • Design and develop .Net applications including middleware applications, user interface applications (React and/or Vue frameworks), and web services applications.
  • Develop and integrate with PostgreSQL server databases.
  • Develop within and integrate with ServiceNow solutions.
  • Conducting and participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Develop software design documentation which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc. 
  • Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools, including Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Develop and maintain unit test suites for system features.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation.
  • User interface driven application and API development.
  • Web Services development.
  • ServiceNow integration and development experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • React, Vue.js, or similar Javascript and Typescript-based UI frameworks.
  • C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Visual Studio code, Git, xUnit.
  • AWS experience (CI/CD tool stack). 
  • Agile development. 

 

BI Requirement: 

  • Current holder of a CBP Background Investigation clearance or the ability to obtain one.   
  • Note: Employment will be contingent upon having/obtaining a CBP Background Investigation clearance prior to starting.
