SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst  for our Hanahan, SC location.

The Logistics Analyst will:

• Plan, develop and implement programs to coordinate physical distribution, order fulfillment, inventory management and control, and contract management activities.
• Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties.
• Use computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
• Follow shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
• Receive incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un) packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
• Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
• Develop and administer production plan and schedules as they relate to material and product flow inbound and outbound to ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.
• Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
• Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
• Work with limited supervision. No instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.
• Obtain full knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.

Candidate contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Candidate contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department of which may be a sensitive nature.

Qualifications

Required Education / Experience / Clearance:

• Bachelor's degree and Three (3) years related experience. 
• Configuration Management Professional (CMPro) experience preferred.
• Warehouse Management preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Be able to obtain a position of trust.
