We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance, repair, and operational support for complex weapon systems at Hurburt Field, FL. As the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned systems, and a direct line supervisor,this role demands a deep understanding of technical operations, meticulous record-keeping, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. 

Responsibilities:

·        Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all maintenance tasks.

·        Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to maintenance personnel.

·        Function as the leading technical authority on all matters related to GAU 23 A/A and 105mm Legacy & GAU weapon systems.

·        Oversee the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive logs, records, debriefs, and reports.

·        Ensure timely and accurate submission of required documentation to government/SAIC program managers.

·        Maintain a thorough understanding of internal Excel spreadsheets, including the ability to verify and modify formulas to ensure data accuracy.

·        Perform managerial and performance tasking, including personnel management, performance reviews, and resource allocation.

·        Perform all tasks associated with weapon systems within IMDS and TCMax.

·        Foster a positive and productive work environment.

·        Ensure proper inventory control and accountability of all assigned equipment.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years experience.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role with a strong background in weapon systems maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of GAU 23 A/A and 105mm Legacy & GAU weapon systems, including troubleshooting and depot level maintenance procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Interim secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
