SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to provide on-site financial management support at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI.
In this role you will be responsible:
Generating various financial and cost reports to support program execution.
Analyzing project funds, review financial data for technical programs, and working closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) and Project Management Analysts; key part of your work will involve gathering financial information using the Navy Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system.
Ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.
Developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that cost and schedule objectives are met.
Preparing presentations and assisting with various financial actions and requests from the Department business office.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of direct NUWC financial experience with a strong understanding of government financial systems.
Must already possess minimum of interim SECRET clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of basic financial principles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
DoD and NAVSEA ERP experience.
