SAIC is searching for a Scrum Master to join our team supporting the JEXC2 Program, based in Panama City, FL. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach / Scrum Master to lead, coach, and support multiple Agile development teams through effective implementation of Agile and SAFe practices. This role is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring successful delivery of complex technical projects. The ideal candidate is a leader with strong facilitation, coaching, and organizational skills, as well as technical fluency within enterprise IT environments. This role provides global IT support to the military and contractors, and occasional on-site support at locations both CONUS and OCONUS may be required. 

JOB DUTIES: 

• Serve as Scrum Master and Agile Coach for multiple Agile teams  

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including:  

  • Daily standups  

  • Sprint planning  

  • Backlog grooming/refinement  

  • Sprint reviews  

  • Retrospectives  

  • Coach and mentor teams to improve Agile maturity, collaboration, and performance  

  • Coordinate cross-team product delivery and manage inter-team dependencies  

  • Assist in identifying and removing impediments impacting team progress  

  • Partner with stakeholders to align delivery objectives with business priorities  

  • Leverage Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) for:  

  • Requirement documentation  

  • Task tracking  

  • Workflow management  

  • Reporting and visibility  

  • Adapt and refine Agile processes to fit project and organizational needs  

  • Support technical teams in structured delivery within regulated or enterprise environments 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

• Bachelors and 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach. Additional years experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) 

• Experience facilitating cross-team coordination and dependency management 

• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills 

• Experience with Agile tooling platforms (Jira, Confluence) 

• Working knowledge of enterprise IT environments and experience with Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 

• Soft skills include strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, a problem-solving, and a collaborative leadership style 

• Security + certification required

• US Citizenship required

• Minimum of an Interim Secret required to start. Active Secret clearance preferred. SAIC will sponsor qualified candidates for a security clearance.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
