SAIC is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provides direct support to Crane FST team to address tasking from PMA-234 NGJ Supportability Leads and SMEs
- Works with FST team member to support the Platform and System OEMs, FRCs, Naval Air Commands, Squadrons, and Fleet personnel
- Coordinates with the Crane logistics team to accomplish tasks required to ensure a supportable product is fielded
- Supports preparation of OPOM, budgets and resource estimates to accomplish all supportability tasking
- Reviews, analyzes and comments on all CDRLs, Briefs, Plans and engineering source data for adherence to program requirements
- Takes inputs from all team members for compilation into one product for delivery to the program office
- Participates in weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual meetings as required
- Provides direct support to FST Team Lead in all areas directly and indirectly related to logistics support across lifecycle sustainment of system
- Ensures supportability methodologies and approaches are in accordance with the latest DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and instructions
- Reviews and updates NGJ-MB Maintenance Planning products, Maintenance Requirements Card (MRC), Periodic Maintenance Identification Card (PMIC), and technical manuals (IETMs), performs Logistics tasking related to RCM Analysis, ECP, TEIs, and TDs as required
- Supports the NGJ MB FST Lead in ancillary tasking from the PMA supporting immediate fleet maintenance requirements with minimal notice
- Assists the NGJ MB FST Lead in authoring proper contract language to support a large contract supporting an ACAT 1 program logistics reach back contract
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's degree and 9 years or more of related experience or equivalent; master's and 7 years or more experience
- Prior experience with life-cycle and acquisition logistics
- Maintenance Plan experience
- Knowledge of the 4790.2D Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives (TDs)
- Excellent communication skills; inter-personal; organizational and detail-oriented
- Thrives in a deadline-driven environment
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple project assignments
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Microsoft Project) including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software applications is required
- Interim secret required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
- US Citizenship required
