SAIC is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the team local to Huntsville, AL.
Job Description:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Develop, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines
- Administer and support cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS
- Perform Linux and Windows system administration tasks
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense security requirements
- Apply DISA STIG (Secure Technical Implementation Guides) where necessary
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure
- Support Kubernetes deployments and administration
- Implement and manage cloud networking solutions
- Build scalable digital engineering environments
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and five (5) years' or more experience; Additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle)
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance (US Citizenship)
Required Experience/Skills:
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions and Architecture experience
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with DevSecOps solutions and practices, automation, Kubernetes and containerization
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
