SAIC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in North Charleston, SC.
The Electrical Engineer researches, designs, develops, modifies, evaluates and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
The Electrical Engineer:
- Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results.
- Develops specifications for selecting components and equipment to use. May also review vendors' abilities to support development.
Candidate will work on-site with the customer daily to design and deploy circuit and power system solutions for the rapid prototyping of UAV systems.
3D Modeling and 3D Printing skillsets are desired to enable the development of enclosures for prototypes to aid in the maturation of produced systems.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more of experience
- Circuit Design Experience
- Power Systems Experience
- Proficiency in CAD Software/3D Printing Experience
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Self-Driven and Creative
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Must Be Willing to Travel for Demos and Test Events
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

- UAV/UAS Experience
- Raspberry Pi Experience
