SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Arlington, VA, supporting the DISA-JSP customer. This position is 100% onsite.
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM core hours with occasional after hours' onsite work to support NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and TS environments.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of experience; Masters and seven (7) or more years of experience.
Clearance and certification requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance; ability to obtain a TS/SCI required to maintain employment.
US citizenship
IAT Level II (CompTIA Sec +) certification
Experience requirements:
- 10+ years in Microsoft Active Directory and Application support.
- 5+ years in configuring and managing clusters.
- 3+ years in computer system engineering, including hardware and software analysis, system installation, integration, implementation, and maintenance.
- 3+ years in computer-related areas such as Networks, Servers, Storage Area Networks, systems management, directory systems, Public Key Infrastructure, IT customer support and training, computer server and workstation installation, diagnosis and repair, technical writing, computer security, knowledge management, database administration, system maintenance, project management, scripting, and Information System Testing.
- Experience in implementing software and hardware solutions.
- Knowledge of a range of current information technologies, computing platforms, and network systems, including cloud computing, blade servers, virtualization, unified communications, collaboration tools, business intelligence systems, social networking tools, and enterprise service buses.
- Experience in the utilization and maintenance of high-level system designs, including architectural design documents, diagrams, project plans, and milestones.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical staff.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, including group policies (preference for MS Office 2007 and higher), applying group permissions (deployment and troubleshooting), and a strong working knowledge of DNS/DHCP/WINS.
- Experience in establishing information systems requirements through the analysis of system engineers to develop enterprise-wide information systems design in an environment of similar size and scope.
- Experience in implementing solution designs and operating environments compliant with Federal and DoD guidance and policies.
