SAIC is seeking a Senior Training Analyst, with Operational Joint Fires experience, that is passionate about training military personnel on new equipment using creative methods. They will be working with our talented team to support the United States Marine Corps in fielding the next generation of loitering / precision strike munitions. This is a 100% Remote.
The Senior Training Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Support the development of training materials across a wide range of mediums to provide a diverse community of users with a working knowledge of multiple loitering and precision strike munitions.
- Lead training events and checks on learning to ensure user proficiency to operate the systems.
- Staff training materials through Marine Corps Systems Command for approval.
- Provide input on vendor-developed, application based, training products.
- Support the program office in coordinating resources, identifying required support personnel and developing schedules for training events.
- Support test events by operating the systems and providing operational and technical expertise to document system issues and recommend solutions or improvements.
- Supported fielded units by being on-call to act as the system expert and support troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of parts or systems.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Experience in developing training materials and leading training events.
- Experience with military maps/imagery and methods for obtaining geographic coordinates.
- Prior military experience in ground fire support or close air support.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
- Able to work independently and efficiently with short term deadlines.
- Willingness to travel (50%).
Desired Skills:
- Experience and proficiency with digital systems such as Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) or Strike Link.
- Basic operational knowledge and troubleshooting of Android and Windows based handheld devices.
- Experience with DI2E developer tools, especially JIRA and Zephyr.
- Familiarization with the Agile development process.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
