SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support out team in Guam. The ideal candidate will already be located in Guam. Non local candidates would still be considered with minimal relocation allowance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite
- Installation of new hardware or software
- Creating and managing user accounts
- Maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases
- Planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems
- May include light programming or scripting to make the system workflows easier.
- Training computer users and assistants.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors and 2 years' experience; Masters and 0 years' experience; 4 years' experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Certification:
Security+ certification
IAT Level II or above Certification in addition to Security+
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 R2, or newer
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services
- Experience with virtualization, i.e. vmWare and ESXi.
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience in a Systems Administrator role
- Security+ certification
- IAT Level II or above Certification in addition to Security+
Required Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required prior to first day of employment.
Required Travel:
May include additional travel up to 10%.
