SAIC is seeking a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to support the AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract. The AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract bridges intelligence community collection architectures, capabilities, and technologies with DoD operational and tactical requirements.  This effort will deliver rapid, innovative, and cost-effective capabilities to meet warfighter needs, and will include bringing national capabilities to bear across all warfighting domains spanning intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, combat applications, battlespace awareness, command and control, multi-level security and mission programs.  This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements in geolocation and tagging, sensor and data fusion, unconventional / asymmetric warfare, situational awareness, cyberspace and spectrum warfare, large data analytics, data lake, jamming technologies, sensor technologies, geo-registration to deliver a cutting-edge approach.

The SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR for AF TENCAP is essential to the success of the HOPE 2.0 initiative, focusing on access control for identity management (IdAM/ICAM) and provide comprehensive operational support, including support for demos, exercise events, and mission rehearsals.  Ensuring the system meets reliability and availability (RMAD) performance requirements and providing surge support is crucial to enhance the Air Force's multi-domain situational awareness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently ingest data to ensure accurate and seamless data integration within the system.
  • Facilitate data export processes to maintain data accessibility and support reporting requirements.
  • Establish and manage user portal connections to provide user access to system resources and services.
  • Oversee access control and identity management processes to ensure secure and appropriate access for users.
  • Deliver comprehensive operational support to maintain system functionality and performance.
  • Assist in the setup and operational support of demos, exercise events, and mission rehearsals to ensure their success.
  • Offer additional support during peak periods to manage workload spikes and ensure continued system reliability.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance to meet reliability and availability criteria, ensuring operational efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • BS and five (5) years of related experience with certifications. Additional experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
  • CompTIA Security+
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or CompTIA Cloud+
  • A+, CND, Network+ Certifications.
  • Experience with Windows Administration, Linux OS, and Active Directory.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields.  Current enrollment is accepted.
  • Experience with the following: AWS Cloud, Webmail, MatterMost chat, ACAS, Splunk, Nessus, Domain Controllers, IdAM / ICAM solutions, Cross-Domain Solutions (e.g., AWS Data Diodes)

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
