SAIC has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Army Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions team located onsite at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL.

Job Description:

• Assist with multidisciplinary technical efforts optimizing performance of launcher systems
• Ensure technical integrity throughout the Acquisition Lifecycle Systems Engineering process, including hardware, software, and integration domains during developmental testing and system validation
• Translate complex engineering data into strategic program decisions while managing dynamic schedules and coordinating across diverse teams to mitigate risks and drive mission success

Qualifications

Required Education:

• BS degree and two (2) years of experience

Required Skills:

• Familiar with concepts with specific system engineering knowledge 
• Experience in Acquisition Lifecycle Systems Engineering process, including hardware, software, and integration domains during developmental testing and system validation
• Experienced analyzing and verifying requirements
• Able to translate requirements into testable event objectives
• Fluent in the Microsoft Office Suite

Required Clearance:

• Must have an active Interim Security DOD Clearance; with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret.
