This position will either be in Bethesda, MD or McLean, VA. 

SAIC is seeking a System Integration Analyst to document technical artifacts that follow the governance framework for a customer organization; ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and best practices by developing and enforcing procedures; monitoring adherence to organizational guidelines; and advising leadership on governance matters across various business functions. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical documentation that follow the customer's governance framework to include SOPs, knowledge articles, governance and control gates, training material, guides, and reports that direct and support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Organize and support various governance boards, committee meetings, working groups, and control gates on an as-needed basis.
  • Gather information, interview subject matter experts, and conduct other research to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
  • Participate in conducting thorough inspections, identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and implementing corrective actions/process improvements.
  • Create and update governance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with the organization's strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with different departments and leadership levels to communicate governance expectations, address concerns, and facilitate buy-in.
  • Support management/leadership on governance matters, including presenting reports and recommendations.
  • Document governance training programs to raise awareness and understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Organizing material and completing writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Managing the schedule, assignments, and meetings associated with all narratives and submissions
  • Generate regular reports on governance performance, including key metrics and trends, to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more of related experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more of related experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more of related experience.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or related field.

Required Experience:

  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • 5+ years' experience as a technical writer/editor.
  • 5+ years' experience organizing and coordinating the activities required to produce technical. documentation with technical experts working across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency using SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be comfortable researching various enterprise IT related technologies.

Desired Experience:

  • ITIL certified.

Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with the required poly.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
