SAIC is seeking an TOPS Technical Training Instructor (TTI). This position is responsible for delivering, teaching, and facilitating courses to meet all course and learning objectives. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) using professional and technical experiences to engage and teach adult learners. Each course description identifies specific courses that the TTI supports and the SME requirements for each course. Monitor student progress during course executions and provide feedback to the customer. Supports the development of new, or modification of existing courses in coordination with technical instructional systems designers. The position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and (15) years or more of related experience. Masters and (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (10) years or more experience.
  • Five years (5) years of experience serving in PCS customer assignments.
  • 10 years of experience within the IC
  • Demonstrated experience delivering content for adult learners.
  • Demonstrated experience tailoring communications and facilitating discussions among small and large groups of people with diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience adopting new technologies for knowledge management and/or tailoring of technology to support learning needs.
  • Demonstrated ability as a self-starter, to team effectively, regularly work outside your comfort zone, and to adapt to emerging technologies and evolving requirements. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment and partnering across various customer offices.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 3 years as TOPS officer
  • Extensive experience with the customer supporting multiple lines of business.
  • Adult learning experience teaching technical courses, student mentoring, and class facilitation.
  • Advanced degree in Science, Engineering, or Education.
