JOB SUMMARY:
 We are seeking a data-driven, results-oriented Manager of Paid Media to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team in St. Petersburg, FL. As a steward of SalonCentric's paid media investment, you will leverage data and analytics to develop, execute, and optimize omnichannel paid media campaigns, driving profitable revenue growth, and elevating our brand presence in the professional beauty industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Strategy & Planning: 
    • Develop and lead the execution of data-driven, omnichannel paid media strategies, encompassing Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic, Online Video, and Trade Media, to achieve business objectives, build brand awareness, acquire new customers, and drive store traffic. 
    • Distill marketing priorities into media strategies and tactics that align to company and brand strategic goals and complement holistic marketing support (CRM, influencer, e-commerce, print, and in-store) .
    • Brief and direct external agency partner(s) to build strategic media framework, define target audiences, select optimal media channels, and establish KPIs/benchmarks for success.
  • Campaign Execution: 
    • Proactively identify and troubleshoot campaign performance issues in partnership with the agency, conducting root cause analysis to determine underlying factors and implementing corrective actions.
    • Oversee budget management, forecasting, and reconciliation processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal processes. 
  • Analytics & Reporting: 
    • Develop insightful campaign performance reports to inform strategic decision-making and communicate the impact of paid media activities to stakeholders. Ensure accurate and unbiased reporting and campaign management.
  • Collaboration & Communication: 
    • Identify and resolve process and technical challenges independently, proposing effective solutions rather than simply reporting issues.
    • Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization (including brand marketing, ecommerce, agency, Brands, and key vendors). 
    • Champion a data-driven culture by promoting the use of analytics to inform decision-making and citing data to support recommendations. 
    • Provide regular performance updates for SalonCentric and Brand leadership, maintaining clear documentation of strategies, budgets, and results. 
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: 
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices. 
    • Identify opportunities to test new tactics and technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive innovation, including expected results and scaling plans. 
    • Share knowledge and insights with the team and contribute to SalonCentric's digital marketing capabilities. 

EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in omnichannel media planning and buying (agency or client-side), with a proven track record of managing annual budgets of at least $1M.
  • Experience developing and executing media plans in paid social, SEM, programmatic and online video required.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, conduct A/B testing, and provide actionable insights using various attribution models. Experience with Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Data Clean Rooms is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, and Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution, Marketing Mix Models (MMM), measurement methodologies, site tagging, Data Clean Rooms, and advanced analytics for paid media.
  • Proactive problem solver, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges and addressing them before they escalate.
  • Collaborative partner, with a talent for listening to partners' feedback and concerns and actively solutioning to build alignment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the beauty or retail industry is a plus.
  • Must be able to remain stationary or sit for the majority of scheduled day.
  • Able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment throughout the day.
  • Ability to use normal office equipment regularly (computer, printer etc).
  • Ability to lift 10 LBS. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
