Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Biostatistics Fellow, you are responsible for reviewing statistical techniques which guarantee the scientific validity and overall quality of clinical trial results. You will validate statistical analysis, contribute statistical input when requested, and provide statistical support to the lead biostatistician. All duties listed below will be conducted under the supervision of a qualified biostatistician.

  • You will provide research assistance to lead biostatistician
  • You will Review or perform sample size calculation
  • You will Provide input to protocols and CRF design
  • You will Review or create randomization schema and statistical analysis plans
  • You will validate or produce datasets, tables, listings & figures using SAS
  • You will review data to assist Data Management in manual query generation
  • You will maintain professional statistical standards
  • You will maintain & archive program/study documentation - both electronic & paper - in an appropriate manner
  • Understand and apply regulatory statistical guidelines
  • You will contribute to internal process improvement

For this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (4 year program)
  • Currently enrolled in a collegiate Biostats program

  • It is preferred that you have:

  • A Master's Degree (1-2 year program)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years statistical experience
