System Development Manager will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of Digital Marketing Technology solutions across the organization. This person will collaborate with other managers within the department to promote an enterprise-first approach and establish continuity throughout our consumer and customer-facing websites.
This person must develop strong partnerships with business leaders and jointly establish the technology vision as well as define priorities. They will need to be a technology leader with demonstrated experience in defining and implementing transformational and cost-effective strategies, policies, and tools across global and domestic systems.
This person will also be able to manage a team of associates that work remotely.
Business Relationship Management
Provide leadership and vision to Business Unit leaders to identify strategic directions requiring systems solutions, define business application requirements, and deliver system and process solutions for those requirements.
Responsible for the stability, quality, maintenance and enhancements of core business applications for the functional business areas assigned.
Provides strategic and business leadership with regard to the development of core application systems, and works closely with others in Applications Development and Technical Support to ensure the developed applications conform to enterprise standards.
Remains abreast of digital marketing technology trends.
Actively researchs future systems solutions by balancing technology innovation, industry trends, and internal business needs.
Provides oversight and leadership to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives that deliver high quality systems on-schedule, on-budget, to the committed scope.
Develops project resource requirements and works with appropriate organizational units to acquire resource commitments.
Promote and inspire a culture of excellence with our IT leaders and associates through the effective application of the ShawWay and Performance Experience (PX)
Ensures compliance with the established Shaw IS development methodology and standards.

Possesses IT or business-related two or four year college degree
10+ years of experience in a medium to large scale IT environment.
5+ years of experience leading an IT team
Strong understanding of Digital Marketing concepts and practices, including:
Digital Asset Management
Web site development and maintenance
Social Media monitoring
Product visualization solutions
Agile methodology and management experience
C# and .NET Stack
NodeJS and Command Line Interface
