The Global Supply Sourcing Manager reports to the Director of Supplier Management and Development. The Global Supply Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing complex sourcing strategies to support the business. The Global Supply Sourcing Manager strives to deliver against three primary business needs: assurance of supply, delivering the best total value, and managing supplier performance, with uncompromising ethics and stewardship.
Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure that delivery dates, technical, business, and contractual requirements are met
Create and support positive supplier relationships
Develop negotiation strategies, gain alignment from stakeholders, and lead cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams
Responsible for holding the supplier accountable, which includes communicating the supplier performance metrics, creating corrective action plans, and ensuring that the supplier's performance meets expectations
Conduct regular supplier meetings and champion supplier business review meetings with cross-functional team members
Identify supply chain risk and create appropriate contingency plans
Identify and document supplier information and capabilities
Create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the supply chain
Create, negotiate, and execute contracts with suppliers
Ensure supply market research data is available to support business decisions across the enterprise.
Deliver annual budgeted cost savings
Internal point of contact for supplier management and resolution of issues
Understands and supports Shaw's business and ethical standards
Collaborates with other sourcing leaders and multiple business partners to ensure ongoing needs are met
Trains, develops and leads assigned associates
Oversees supplier and company compliance with agreements based on authorized user requirements, company policies, and ethical standards
- Demonstrate global cultural awareness
4-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Logistics, Inventory, or Engineering AND 2 years sourcing and procurement experience OR 4 years of sourcing and procurement experience (including negotiating experience) in an organization of similar size and scope
Global business and financial acumen
Ability to travel internationally for portions of the year
- Professional Certification in a Supply Chain Related Area (i.e. C.P.M., CPSM, CPIM, etc.) a plus.
